Expression of Interest for face to face flu vaccination training

As the 2024/25 influenza vaccination season approaches, Community Pharmacy North East Central (CPNEC) is exploring the possibility of offering face-to-face training sessions for pharmacy staff. This training will be provided at no cost to attendees.

As per the Community Pharmacy England (CPE) website, all pharmacy staff involved in the provision of the service should receive appropriate training relevant to the role they will undertake; pharmacy owners are required to demonstrate that all staff providing the service in their pharmacy have the skills needed to do so. Pharmacists and other vaccinators providing the service need to attend face-to-face training for both injection technique and basic life support training periodically. Comprehensive information is available here at the CPE website.
